PR – Commercial

I offer PR and commercial photography for organisations looking for confident, editorially driven imagery. Collaborating closely with clients, I interpret briefs to produce photographs that communicate clearly and effectively. I am experienced in working at speed, delivering high quality images quickly, including live turnaround at events

Portrait

I specialise in editorial portraiture shaped by more than 25 years working with UK national newspapers. My approach focuses on photographing people in their own environments, creating images that feel natural, considered and assured. The result is portraiture with a clear sense of narrative, informed by reportage and delivered with a calm, editorial finish.

General

I approach photography in general with an instinct sharpened by years in editorial and PR photography. I am drawn to moments as they unfold, from the quietly observational to the unexpected, finding interest in the quirky, the humorous and the everyday.

Personal

My personal work includes a long standing use of pinhole photography. As a student I was hooked after building my first pinhole camera from a cereal packet in the 90s. You never quite know what you’ll get from a pinhole image. In a world of highly precise digital photography it’s nice to still be surprised.
